Family Emergency Policy
This policy is intended to govern all payments from Maserculiq, Incorporated to provide financial assistance to its shareholders and their families in times of family emergency.
To assist our elders in traveling to be with their families during time of crisis, Maserculiq, Incorporated will provide our elder shareholders with a Family Emergency Assistance Travel Payment. The amount of this benefit is initially set at $300.00, though this amount may be changed from time to time by resolution passed by the Maserculiq, Incorporated board of directors.
As used in this section, “family crisis” and “crisis” are defined as the death or serious illness of an immediate family member of a shareholder or of the son or daughter of an immediate family member of a shareholder.
“Immediate Family Member” is defined as a spouse or domestic partner, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, stepparent, stepchild, or stepsibling.
Elder shareholder means a Maserculiq, Incorporated shareholders who is 65 years of age or older.
This Family Emergency Assistance Travel Payment is a one-time payment. Once used, it is not available to a shareholder again, even in the event of a subsequent family emergency.
Except as provided in this Policy, including amendments as may be made hereto from time to time, Maserculiq, Incorporated shall not provide any payments to shareholders or families of shareholders to provide assistance during times of family emergency.
